Carmel Mountain Ranch is a fun golf course. It winds its way up and down hills that wind through a housing development. Would I prefer a more wilderness type course? Yes, but the challenges that the different holes present make Carmel mountain Ranch an interesting golf course.
Recently the owners took out grass, brought in sand and wood chips, and eliminated much water use.They moved tee boxes around and cut down a lot of trees. The course is easier now but more fun.
There is a great senior rate Monday through Wednesday before 8:00 AM.
