It was the ducks and I at 6:15 this morning on the Ocean
Course. I enjoyed the cool air and the silence of the morning. I played near a
workman at one point, and he asked me how my game was. I said Ok, and that I
was practicing. He said, “Life is practice.”
I wondered if he had office hours, as I drove my cart to the next hole.
On the Valley Course I spotted a large coyote moving across
one of the fairways. I wanted to get a picture, but he was gone quickly. After
my round I had coffee on the porch and looked forward to Tuesday, the next time
I would be playing at Fairbanks.
