My first shot went in the water, but after some bad holes, I
played well. Vicki and I enjoyed the company of Richie Sobel, our guest at Fairbanks
Country Club. Richie had recently returned from a vacation to Italy, and we
enjoyed enthusiastic tales of his travels. He went to some great places
including Venice, Carpi, Florence, and Rome. Did he love the food and the
artistry of Italy? I will give you one
guess.
After our round we had lunch at the club. Vicki and I split
a quesadilla, while Richie had fish and chips.
We all had a good day.
