Golf today

May 11, 2016

Like Marlon Brando in, On the Waterfront, I could have been a contender, if they gave me unlimited mulligans. But today was fun with some good holes mixed with some of marginal quality. The wildlife continues to be a nice part of our golf experience. Today we saw an egret frozen in time as we drove by a marshy spot.

On the finishing hole on the Ocean Course I hit a very good drive. My second shot was also good, but again it was too far left and found the water. It is a hard hole. After packing up the car, we went for coffee and chatted with Carolyn, who seems to be in institution at the club. She is great fun and a terrific waitress.
