I began watching “Luther” on Netflix a while ago. Filmed and produced in England, the show revolves around detective John Luther played by Idris Elba, a brilliant actor. Detective Luther is quirky, impulsive, angry, and tormented, but he is also clever, creative, and intelligent. Rather than using guns to bring down criminals as Bruce Willis might, Luther uses talk laden psychological strategies. The series is dark but fascinating
