A golf teacher is like a therapist. He needs to initiate a
process of working through a problem that is often time consuming and
difficult. He needs to generate hope while at the same time maintaining a
critical eye. My teacher, Clark Renner, has been making a number of points for
several years. Today one sunk in, and I noted immediate improvement.
The brain is odd. It doesn’t always learn in
a linear fashion.
Insight isn’t always
logical. Things fall into place. Then the ball goes high and draws to the
right.
