A Hole to Play

The 15 TH hole at Woods Valley Golf Course is unusual. From an elevated tee the golfer hits straight to the fairway. Go left, and your ball will go into woods. Go right and the chaparral will eat your shot. Some people try to go to the right and cut the corner. A long driver can do this. If you don’t hit your ball far enough, you will be hitting a penalty shot.  The safest route is to go straight to the fairway, where it is then a nine iron or a pitching wedge to the green
