Safety Tips: Stopping the Bad Guys

In recent months there have been numerous crimes committed in the Del Mar area. These have mostly consisted of home and car break-ins I have been following the reports of the crimes on the app, Next Door.Here are some suggestions to stop the bad guys

1.  Try not to leave your car on the street.

2.  Lock your car. Think about a car cover, if you have to leave your car outdoors.

3.  Don't leave anything in your car to tempt the bad guys.

4.  Lock your side gates.

5.  Have some motion lights outside. Bad guys don't like to be seen.

6.  Have some lights on a timer in your house when you are away in the evening.

7.  Stop mail and papers when you are away.   

8.  Let your neighbors keep an eye on your house when you are away.

9.  Alarms are good.
