BlacKkKlansman

I saw this movie directed by Spike Lee last night. It is a good movie that is raw, hard-hitting, and at times overwhelming. It is an important movie as it highlights the ingrained racism that exists in the United States. It does it through the creative recounting of a true story. A black undercover policeman and his white partner infiltrate the  Ku Klux Klan in Colorado Springs in a mission that is bold and dangerous.

The casting, acting, and writing in the movie are excellent. The story takes place in the past, but the issues it presents are current. The movie is serious, but it provides moments of comic relief. It is a movie that should be seen.
