Trump was referring to federal Judge James Robart (a Bush appointee, by the way) who yesterday put a nationwide hold on Trump’s travel ban.
Someone needs to teach Trump that under the Constitution, the judiciary is independent. For a President to level a personal attack on a federal judge who disagrees with him is a dangerous overstepping of presidential power. Trump’s rant is further evidence that he seeks to be a dictator, not a president.
At the very least, Congress must censure Trump for this brazen attack on the independence of the courts, and on the separation of powers enshrined in the Constitution. (I hope there's a motion of censure Monday, and that it's bipartisan.)
