It was smooth sailing from there with no one in front or in back for the rest of the round.Under new ownership and now managed by J.C. Golf, the course is much improved. The tee boxes are manicured, there is thicker grass on the fairways, and the greens, which had just been punched, look good.

Woods Valley: April 4, 2016
The hills were free this morning in Valley Center, where we drove early to play the Woods Valley Golf Course. Tee time was at 8:00, but we were able to start a half hour early. Four men were in front smoking cigars and enjoying their round, but they were slow! At hole 3 they let us through. This was a par three over a small pond. Luckily with everyone watching we hit good shots that landed on the large green.
