Dan, the head pro, said Valley/Lakes, and I was off at 6:30 to play my round. I may be achieving phantom status, since I never encountered another person on the course. Even thought he greens were sandy from having been punched, I had a good time and played well.
I hadn’t lost any balls until the final hole, when I choked and hit my second shot in the pond after a good drive. Following coffee on the patio, I chatted with Mike and Myles, who manage the carts, and then headed home.
