Red Sparrow

I saw Red Sparrow last night, having read the book a year ago. The movie might have worked better had it been made into a few seasons of Netflix shows. The story is complex and convoluted, and it can't be done justice in one film.  The film is too ambitious. The actors, especially Jennifer Lawrence, were good. I could have done with fewer torture scenes.
