Last night we saw Isle of Dogs at the local Cineopolis. This animated film by Wes Anderson is entertaining and complex. It is not a children's' movie though the title suggests otherwise. The film mixes themes of government corruption, authoritarianism, deportation, extermination, megalomania with those of heroism, science, and compassion. It seems timely.
